Learn to use tapestry techniques to create decorative weaves with lots of texture. No prior weaving experience needed. Bring your own tapestry loom if you have one, or borrow one of ours at the shop. We will cover how to warp a tapestry loom, the basic tools needed, and how to work some of the standard tapestry stitches to create patterns and designs. This is a two part class, so please be prepared to attend on both dates.

Joi Weaver has been doing fiber arts since she was old enough to hold a needle. She loves learning new crafts, especially unusual pre-modern ones like nålbinding and sprang. She can often be found on the back roads of Bellingham, foraging for dye and fiber plants.
