Natural Cordage and Basket Weaving Workshop

Make a beautiful basket adorned with your own cordage! Joi Weaver is an experienced crafter who will guide you through this process. In our first session, we will be learning how to make cordage from several local materials, such as rhubarb, dandelion, and grass. In sessions two and three we will then use the cordage you've created decoratively in a sturdy reed basket, which you will weave with help from Joi. This workshop is structured so you can sign up for session one, just cordage making, or all three sessions, which includes cordage making and basket weaving.
