Northwest Yarns is located in Bellingham, WA, which is on the traditional territory and homelands of the Coast Salish people. Our store is located on the historic and unceded lands of the Lhaq’temish/Lummi Nation and Nuxwsa’7aq/Nooksack Tribe. We recognize that the first artisans and fiber artists of this region were Coast Salish people, and we seek honor their legacy, their lives, and their culture.

We enthusiastically support the continuation and development of fiber artists within Coast Salish nations and tribes. To this end, we give 15% discount on all items (excluding consigned items and equipment) at our store and on all classes to any person of Coast Salish descent.
