Blackwork Embroidered Ornament - Craftmas Series

Get in the holiday spirit with Northwest Yarns and Mercantile! Join us for our Craftmas Series, where we will be creating crafts and ornaments together as a community and fighting off the winter blues.

This afternoon, Joi will be leading a casual 2-hour crafting session where you will be creating embroidered ornaments. In this crafting sessions, you will learn to use the historic European style of embroidery know as blackwork to create a festive mini ornament! Blackwork has been practiced for hundreds of years in Eastern Europe, and is becoming trendy worldwide. Instructions will be provided and assistance will be given.
