Wet Felted Hat

Make a lightweight hand felted hat in a simple cloche style with a rounded or telescoping top. The close fitting brim can be turned up or under. Wisps of wool are layered on a resist pattern and wet felted. Yarns and fibers can be used for embellishments.

 

Materials: Please bring your own materials for this workshop. The amount you will need is listed below:

• For a small hat: 2 oz merino wool
• For a large hat: 2.5 oz merino wool
