Beginner Spindle Spinning Workshop (June)

About this experience

Join Heather to learn the ancient art of spindle spinning in this two-part class! She will lead a new flock of spinners in Bellingham into the wild blue yonder of fiber arts!

We will be meeting in two sessions:

• First Session from 11-12 pm: learn to spin singles on your spindle and build the foundation for spinning skills.
• Second Session from 11-12 pm: learn to ply and finishing techniques for your yarn.

Fiber for spinning will be provided by the instructor.

If one does not have a drop spindle already, spindles are available for purchase from the shop.

Class dates and time: June 22nd and 29th, 11:00-12:00pm 
Cost: $60
Maximum spinners: 4

*Students receive a discount of 10% on any additional fiber you would like to take home for practice.
