We get our logwood direct from a forest plantation in Mexico that focuses on growing and harvesting logwood through regenerative agricultural practices. They work to make sure their forest supports both plant and animal diversity, they sequester carbon and improve the soil using biochar from their operations, and they work directly with members of their local community to promote biodiversity, sustainable forest management, and rural development.
