White Cheviot Top

Cheviot are among the smaller of the sheep breeds, originally bred to withstand the damp and cool weather of the Cheviot Hills, located between Scotland and England.

Cheviot wool has a helical crimp, which makes for a nice springy yarn with good resilience. It is a good wool to spin on its own, or to blend with other fibers. It's also great for beginner spinners!
