About this experience

Have you been meaning to learn Brioche Knitting, or have tried to learn but can't quite get the hang of it? Join Kels at Northwest Yarns for this two-part workshop where you will learn to knit a brioche cowl. Brioche Knitting creates a reversible fabric that is characterized by its squishy rib and often contrasting colors. In this class, you will learn brioche knit and purl stitches, as well as some basic increases and decreases. Kels is excited to enable you further on your knitting journey, for many more squishy projects to come!

This workshop is best for confident beginners or intermediate level knitters. You should be familiar with yarn overs, basic increases and decreases, and have knowledge of a long tail cast on.

This class will begin before Northwest Yarns opens for the day. For our coffee lovers: Turtle's Cafe will be open and ready to serve a piping hot cup of joe to those in need!

Students need to arrive with the required cast on. A week prior to the first class date, the instructor will reach out via email with more details, plus a link to an instructional video for their preferred cast-on technique.
