Make your own custom tee shirt using the power of the sun! We will be using solar reactive dyes to paint our shirts and learning how to create designs with cut out paper and other materials. This class was created for families with children in mind, but anyone is welcome to sign up! Dye and pattern materials will be provided.
Materials Needed: a plain white cotton t-shirt for each student

Joi Weaver has been doing fiber arts since she was old enough to hold a needle. She loves learning new crafts, especially unusual pre-modern ones like nålbinding and sprang. She can often be found on the back roads of Bellingham, foraging for dye and fiber plants.
